1. Introductory Provisions
The subject of these General Terms and Conditions is the regulation of legal relations regarding courses organized by Divadlo všem z.s., ID: 08195641, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section L, File 72031/MSPH C, or Mgr. Markéta Mráziková, ID: 88259463, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, File 407344 (hereinafter referred to as “www.kurzyherectvi.cz“).
2. Registration and Enrollment in Courses
Interested parties register for courses in writing by completing a binding application form on the website www.kurzyherectvi.cz under the conditions specified in points II. – XII. below.
By confirming (checking) the relevant box after completing and submitting the binding application, the applicant (individual/company) expresses their consent to these Terms and Conditions.
Registration Methods:
Upon correct completion of the application (i.e., all mandatory fields and confirmation of consent to the Terms and Conditions), the client will receive a confirmation email with payment instructions. Registration is also possible by phone or in person.
Enrollment is only possible if there are vacancies in the course. If the course capacity is reached, the applicant will be contacted with a proposed solution.
Confirmation of payment receipt is provided only upon request.
Applications are processed in chronological order. If interest exceeds the capacity of a given course, the applicant will be offered the next available date with priority preliminary reservation.
Data Protection (GDPR):
Audio and video recordings made during courses are the property of www.kurzyherectvi.cz. In specific cases, participants may receive recordings of lessons or final performances for their own use (via server download or USB drive). Excerpts of lessons showing the work of instructors may be used for marketing purposes by www.kurzyherectvi.cz. By participating, the participant grants explicit consent for photographs or video recordings of their person, taken during or in connection with the event, to be used for marketing purposes through any current or future technical method, without financial compensation and without time or spatial limitations. www.kurzyherectvi.cz processes and stores personal data in accordance with applicable legal regulations (including GDPR) to the extent necessary for its activities. These activities also include marketing, such as sending newsletters. By completing the written application, the applicant agrees to the processing of their personal data for these purposes.
3. Course Execution and Participation
Course Participation:
www.kurzyherectvi.cz reserves the right not to accept an applicant if they do not meet a fundamental requirement for participation (e.g., courses requiring completion of a previous level or absence of a necessary skill required for group work).
Rescheduling – Cancellation – Substitution:
www.kurzyherectvi.cz reserves the right to postpone the start date, change the venue, or change the instructor for organizational reasons. Organizational reasons include circumstances that prevent the course from being held or continued in the given timeframe and quality (e.g., force majeure, power outages, sudden illness of the instructor, etc.).
In case of course cancellation (exceptionally in emergency situations as a last resort), participants will receive a full or proportional refund. Upon agreement, the participant may instead transfer their tuition fee to a future course of the same or different type free of charge.
www.kurzyherectvi.cz is not liable for any secondary damages caused to the participant due to necessary organizational measures.
4. Payment Terms
The course fee is standardly due within 14 days of submitting the binding application and must always be paid before the course starts. For the registered applicant (individual/company), these Terms and Conditions, including payment and cancellation policies, are binding.
The obligation to pay the fee remains valid even in the case of unexcused absence after submitting a binding application (see Article 5 for cancellations). The fee is transferable to a substitute person upon notification.
If registering less than 14 days before the start, the fee must be paid before the course begins (for last-minute payments, a credible proof of payment must be provided). If payment is not completed or proven, participation will not be permitted.
5. Cancellation Policy
All changes and cancellations must be submitted to www.kurzyherectvi.cz in writing or via email; the date of delivery is decisive. The applicant should verify receipt of the email by phone.
Cancellation Fees:
• Up to 10 business days before the start: 0%
• 9 to 5 business days before the start: 50%
• 4 or fewer days before the start: 100%
Non-attendance does not void the obligation to pay the full course fee. Participation of a substitute is permitted.
In cases of documented acute illness, the applicant may be offered a spot in a substitute course (or part thereof) on a new date. Rescheduling to a future date can be done only once and within the same calendar year; otherwise, the fee is forfeited without compensation.
6. Email and Telemarketing
www.kurzyherectvi.cz uses the email contacts of applicants, participants, and newsletter subscribers for its informational and promotional activities.
7. Final Provisions
Any comments, discrepancies, or situations beyond the scope of this document will be resolved by www.kurzyherectvi.cz with maximum effort toward mutual agreement and minimization of potential financial losses.
